Local musician Shivan Ramdhanie has been shot and killed, Ramdhanie was shot dead at a bar in Debe Tuesday evening.
According to reports, shortly before midnight Ramdhanie, of Kanhai Road North, was relaxing with a group of men at Troopers bar located at Mohess Road when a gunman approached and opened fire.
Ramdhanie was hit several times and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man who was shot in the leg was taken to hospital where he remains warded.
The gunman escaped in a waiting vehicle which was later found abandoned at Tulsa Trace, Penal.
A motive for the murder is yet to be established.
